Within 15 days of the debut of her self-titled project, Jennifer Ashcom has already managed to capture the attention of a wide-range of listeners as well as a growing list of critically acclaimed artists and musicians including An Explorer, Martin Herzberg, Michael Brueckner, VAST, and the art-inspiring, millions-of-followers-strong, prodigious legend OTEP SHAMAYA (kinda like the Britney Spears of metal).

With over 6,000 plays of the 5 tracks from her electronica album, Awaken, and 2 off her ambient/atmospheric/trance project Entheojenn, Jennifer Ashcom's work has been described as being, "very visual - which is a gift in this strange, deranged world of music," by the profoundly brilliant Otep, who also added, "I can feel myself slipping into your soundscapes ...... there is this quiet intensity about it."

Her music is a journey to another level, a higher plateau. In her albums, Jennifer Ashcom invites listeners to, "Fly with me. Open your third eye and experience the light. Go with the cosmic flow of the Universe." And with a passion for all genres of music, she keeps us on our toes with each track she releases.

Late July and August will find the talented young musician in Germany, where she plans on meeting up with the famous Martin Herzberg, founder of Cloudbreak Records and the respectable Michael Brueckner, who has produced over 90 albums in his career. Her tracks will also be played at a few respectable Euro clubs.

So, if you haven't already, go and listen to her music.

Canyon spirits rise to meet my footsteps.
I have traveled long and far to meet you.
The wind has carried you down from mountains,
the ocean's in your eyes-- a calming blue.

The forest trees stand as guardian angels.
Life spills forth from your footsteps, child.
Take Nature into your lungs, breathe, breathe.
Breathe forests, breathe mountains.

Listen to the song here.

Dedicated to Brian
and to my beloved Carolove, who picked up the phone when we first met and has helped me through everything. (And she bought me the shirt.)
